ENERGY OF THE DAY (formerly COTD) ~ 5 of Cups
From The Forest Folklore Tarot by Kessia Beverley-Smith. US Games. 2004. First Edition.
Loss, but with something left over. Focusing a bit too much on what’s gone wrong or has been lost instead of looking at what you still have and being grateful for it. Expressing gratitude for what we have (no matter how little or insignificant it may seem) ends up attracting more blessings into our lives. Focusing on what’s been lost, mulling it over, dwelling on it – well, that creates more loss, and who wants that, right? Focus on what you have, be grateful for it and more good things will come in their own good time.
From the book ~
“A naked water nymph stands alone in a dreamy state. The look on her face is one of sadness. Five cups float in front of her.
“This is a card of introspection and expression. It is time to get a little space & contemplate relationships and disagreements with those around you.”
Monday I’ll be using a different deck. I really like the imagery of this one, but the LWB is sometimes off the mark.
THIS DECK IS FOR SALE. $16, shipping in domestic US included . Add $10 for international shipping.
The deck is in MINT condition. Another one that I really liked the artwork, but it never decided to like me. The LWB has highlighting in yellow pretty much throughout. Cards are typical tarot-card size. They are very laminated & won’t wear out anytime soon. Despite that, they do shuffle well.
Card backs are fully reversible. Reverse meanings are included in the companion book. Please help to send this deck to a good home.
PRICE: $16 in the US, $26 international.
